Gill specialises in supporting organisations to develop and communicate vision and strategic direction, and to deliver real and positive outcomes through housing related activity for people and communities. She has worked in housing for thirteen years with experience of supporting regional agencies and partnerships, local authorities and housing providers, with expertise extending to social care and health in the last seven years. Training initially as a quantity surveyor, Gill spent three years as a development and project manager for North British Housing and Irwell Valley Housing Association, before moving into a local authority role in strategic housing and regeneration at Bury MBC. In 2002 Gill went freelance and was then appointed as Executive Director (Strategic Housing Services) at HQN in 2006. She returned to working as a freelance associate with HQN in 2010. |
