Carole has more than 20 years’ housing management experience, ranging from frontline housing officer to director of housing, and ten years’ consultancy experience. She writes and reviews policies and procedures for a range of services and works with housing organisations on structures and tenant/board relationships in readiness for co-regulation. Carole also supports housing organisations in self-assessment and action planning for excellence, and is qualified in the SPRINT methodology for business process re-engineering. She works with tenant groups and their landlords to set up tenant management organisations and local management agreements, and is an Approved Assessor of TMOs’ competence for the TSA. In 2007-09 Carole built on her skills as a highly experienced trainer by returning to university to gain qualified teacher status in the lifelong learning sector, developing skills to design accredited training courses and manage personalised learning needs.
