Arvinda is a management consultant and an HQN Associate. She has 26 years’ experience in the housing field where she has held many senior roles in housing associations, the Housing Corporation and the National Housing Federation. In addition she has international experience in affordable housing in South Africa. She has a high profile in the housing sector and a well-deserved reputation. She brings enormous amount of enthusiasm and energy to her work and her particular specialisms include governance, equalities, service excellence, team building and coaching/mentoring. Arvinda has recently revised the NHF code for members Excellence in Governance and was involved in developing the governance toolkit for HQN. She is a member of the Hanover Housing Group board, where she holds the equalities portfolio, and chair of Praxis, a charity working with displaced people.
