Positive perspectives in a challenging climate
Wherever you look at the moment, it’s doom and gloom. This impacts massively on individuals, teams, and organisations as a whole. Even if they’re not directly affected, change is always looming in people’s minds.
This course is designed to help delegates understand why individuals and teams behave the way they do in the current environment - most importantly, it taps into what you can do to help clarify and motivate, ensuring business goals are achieved through thinking positively.
The course will give delegates opportunities to develop their knowledge and attitudes around positive thinking, and how this can influence increased performance. They will gain greater insight into techniques to develop a positive mindset - similar to those used by many sports professionals aiming high for the 2012 Olympics. Most importantly, they will learn how to use these techniques to benefit themselves, colleagues and overall organisational performance.
Key elements of the workshop are:
- An understanding of change – what it’s about and how it affects us all in different ways
- An awareness of how our minds play tricks on us, and how we can influence our thoughts and actions in a positive and proactive way
- Techniques to help you see the world differently, boosting confidence and enhancing performance
- An appreciation of how colleagues and team members may be affected by change, and what you can do to keep focus and motivation
- How to use positive perspectives to influence themselves and others in difficult and challenging situations.
Our trainer:
