Wellbeing at work
This practical course is aimed at everyone who wants to improve their wellbeing. It will help you to understand how the five essential elements of wellbeing link together, and why wellbeing at work is critical.
Relaxed, informal and highly participative, the workshop is packed with exercises, tools and techniques to help you create great work-life balance and to feel supported to improve any areas of your life that feel out of kilter. It focuses on learning from experience to support your development on a personal basis and make the subject real for you, in and out of the workplace.
It can be run flexibly in-house as a full- or half-day course or as a series of four introductory sessions over one day, to allow you to maximise the number of staff able to attend.
Topics will include:
- What is wellbeing?
- The five essential elements
- Wellbeing and work
- Finding your balance
- Identifying personal triggers
- Tools and techniques for personal development and self-management.
Specific wellbeing topics - two-hour, half-day or full-day sessions
In addition to the wellbeing workshop, we offer a series of topic-based workshops, again on a flexible full-day, half-day or introductory session basis, including:
- Relaxation tools and techniques
- Dealing with anxiety and worries
- Building your personal confidence
- Setting personal goals for health and wellbeing
- Pain management tools and techniques
- Weight management and enjoying a healthy lifestyle
- Handling difficult conversations at work with confidence
- Overcoming fears and phobias.
These workshops are a great way for your organisation to demonstrate that you take employee wellbeing seriously and are putting in place proactive measures to support them and combat potential causes of stress.
Previous delegates have said:
“I gained an ability to feel in control of bringing my blood pressure down when feeling stressed.”
“Learnt methods of relaxation and how to reduce the level of stress I suffer, especially at work.”
“It was actually reassuring to see a cross-section of employees at the wellbeing sessions. It is also obvious and again reassuring that my employer takes seriously workplace, personal and home stress and is proactive in supporting employees with these issues.”
Who should attend?
Everyone with an interest in wellbeing, from chief executives through to managers, supervisors and frontline housing and support officers.
