Effective evaluation and monitoring

Whilst it’s important for organisations to be successful in providing services to clients, it’s almost equally important to be able to evidence that success to stakeholders.

This course introduces a range of key mechanisms to monitor the progress of individuals, projects, teams and the organisation as a whole, as well as simple and effective tools to evaluate their effectiveness.

The training can be tailored to reflect your organisation’s existing procedures or used to explore or introduce new ones.

Participants will learn:

• How to choose and implement appropriate quantitative evaluation tools to evidence the successful attaining of objectives
• How to choose and implement appropriate qualitative evaluation tools to further evidence the underlying contributors to success, and identify areas for improvement
• How to choose and implement appropriate monitoringmechanisms to check project milestones are being met
• How to link monitoring and evaluation procedures to effective action planning
• Ways to implement performance management processes at an individual, team and organisation level
• How to present the salient results of evaluations coherently, succinctly and effectively.
